Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1 Monday: Arrival Egypt

Welcome to Egypt! Upon arrival to Cairo airport you’ll be met and assisted by Egypt Unlimited Tours representative at the Cairo airport, who will help you to go through the security area, luggage claim and customs. Then our representative will escorting you to your Hotel in Cairo.

Day 2 Tuesday: Saqqara and Dahshur Pyramids

After Breakfast. Start your day by visiting Saqqara, the necropolis of Memphis and home of the Step Pyramid, the first limestone structure that was ever built. Explore its 4350 year old colored tombs. Go inside a pyramid and see the ancient Hieroglyphics engraved on its walls thousands of years ago. Your tour will include a special entry to one of the recent discovered tombs in Saqqara. Have lunch in a local restaurant then visit the Bent and Red pyramids of Dahshur in the middle of nowhere so you get to experience the way how all the pyramids of Egypt used to look like.

Day 3 Wednesday: Giza Pyramids / The Sphinx / Fly to Aswan

After breakfast, you will be picked up by your Egyptologist for a full day tour of Giza and its environs. Your tour will start with a visit to:

Giza Pyramids: You will visit the pyramids and Giza Plateau, located on the outskirts of Cairo, and considered amongst the seven Wonders of the World. The Great Pyramids are over 4500 years old, and are massive in size, with some of the blocks weighing in excess of two and a half tons each.  

Camel Ride: No trip to Egypt would be complete without a camel ride at Giza Pyramids. so you will have an opportunity to mount your individual camel for a short ride across the sands of Giza to the Sphinx.

The Sphinx: Enter the temple of the mysterious Sphinx, an ancient figure shrouded in legend and mystery. Your Egyptologist will enthrall you with the tales told of this fascinating figure.

Lunch at 9 PYRAMIDS restaurant with a panoramic view of the 9 Pyramids all together.

Then afternoon flight to Aswan.

Day 4 Thursday: Abu Simbel Temples

A short flight takes you to Abu Simbel. There, you visit the majestic Abu Simbel Temples, one of the most impressive monuments of ancient Egypt. The temples were carved out of the mountainside in the 13th century BC for Ramses II and his wife Nefertari. Then fly to Aswan. Check in at your hotel. After check-in, enjoy a scenic ride across the Nile on a felucca, a traditional sailboat. while you having lunch on the felucca It takes you around Aswan Botanical Garden, a true oasis in the middle of the Nile river. Back to your hotel and Overnight.

Day 5 Friday: Aswan Dam / Philae Temple / Unfinished Obelisk

After breakfast. Today you embark on a 4-day Nile cruise. Enjoy a tour to Aswan's high Dam, the Granite Quarries and the Temple of Philae. Transfer to your Luxury Nile cruise ship. Lunch on board. Free afternoon. Evening activities on board with buffet dinner.

Day 6 Saturday : Komombo Temple / Edfu Temple / Nile Cruise

After Breakfast, setting sail to Kom Ombo as you proceed north toward Luxor. Visit to Kom Ombo Temple. Lunch back onboard. Continue sailing to Edfu. Afternoon enjoy a visit to the Temple of Edfu. Return to the cruise and continue sailing to Luxor. Evening activities on board with buffet dinner.

Day 7 Sunday: Valley of the Kings / Queen Hatshepsut / Luxor Temple

After breakfast, you will proceed to visit the Valley of the Kings, visiting the tombs of the Great Pharaohs. afterwards a visit to temple of Queen Hatshepsut, one of the rare female pharaohs.
Next, visit a Family home and witness the making of authentic Egyptian sun bread. Lunch on board. Free afternoon. Afternoon Tea. This evening, visit the famous Luxor Temple by night.

Day 8 Monday: Disembark the Nile cruise / Fly to Sharm El Shiekh

Disembark after breakfast. Visit Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex built by man. Walk through the avenue of ram-headed sphinxes, past the statue of Rameses II, to the vast Hypostyle Hall, housing 134 giant decorated columns. Then transfer to the airport for your flight back to Cairo then Connect Flight to Sharm El Shiekh. You will check in to your Luxury hotel for an evening at leisure.

Day 11Thursday: Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali / Old Cairo

After Breakfast fly to Cairo and start to visit the Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali. Situated on the summit of a centuries-old citadel, this is a fine example of an Ottoman-era mosque. Lunch in one of the best Local restaurant in Cairo. Wrap up the day by walking through old Islamic Cairo; walk in El Muizz Street which has the greatest concentration of medieval architectural treasures in the Islamic world; explore the winding alleyways of the famous Khan El Khalili market, the major souk in the Islamic Cairo district. Back to your hotel and overnight.

Day 12 Friday: Alexandria

After Breakfast, drive to Alexandria it is the second largest city in Egypt. The city was founded by Alexander the Great in 332 BC and was the capital of Egypt for more than 300 years. Your sightseeing starts with a visit to the Catacombs of Kom ash-Shuqqafa, where you examine fine examples of pharaonic funeral art with strong Greco-Roman influences, followed by a stop at the 4th-century AD Roman Amphitheater. Later, visit the harbor of Alexandria with the picturesque Citadel of Sultan Qaitbay, the place where the famous Lighthouse of Alexandria – one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World – once stood. Then visit the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, also known as the New Library of Alexandria. Lunch in one of the best Mediterranean Sea Restaurants. Back to your hotel and overnight.

Day 13 Saturday: The Egyptian Museum / Farewell Dinner

After Breakfast we will visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, the largest museum in the world for one single civilization. You will stand face-to-face with the Golden Mask of the boy King Tutankhamun. You will be dazzled with the amount of treasures and artifacts that this museum holds. Back to your hotel. In the evening, during the farewell dinner at Naguib Mahfouz Restaurant, enjoy live music and celebrate your unforgettable journey to Egypt.
